*You Forgot*

You forgot to give my heart back,
when you left me standing here.
You forgot to give my smile back,
but instead you left a tear.

You forgot to give me happiness,
  so now i'm always blue.
You forgot to give my mind back,
and now i dont know what to do.

You forgot to give my eyes back,
you're still the only one i see.
You forgot to give my laugh back,
  instead you laugh at me.

You forgot to give my hands back,
i still feel your gentle touch.
You forgot to give my life back,
and im missing you so much.

But there are some things,
  that i'll never forget.
Like the day we kissed,
  and the day we met.

This is great! Very sad, but beautifully written, and touchingly true. Keep posting....

Hey, it's good to have ya here! I liked your poem, it's like a page out of my own life, too. Yup, I've gone through a bad break up and it wasn't fun. So sorry, but hang in there and eat lots of ice cream, cause ice cream kicks butt! Okay, peace babe.

 It's another world
But it's something more than ordinary
Such a lovely day
And it's nothing more than ordinary living
That you're living
