Song Of My Father I sing of my love for my father, I listen to his voice as it whispers "I love you Karen, do well." Tears fill my eyes and I wander back to my fondest memory. I sing of an early morning in Yellowstone, The crisp air blows this 11-year-old’s ponytail, and the birds sing my name. The trees and wild flowers surround us as we walk through this earthly heaven. I sing of the feeling of peace, That planted it’s seed in my heart. Holding my father’s hand while sitting Next to the rushing river, my love for him and nature expanded. With joy, sorrow, and admiration, I sing of my love for my father. I will see him in my dreams. |

This is a great poem, very immersing imagery. I cannot really relate, however, seeming i dont really know my father, except for a few scattered memories...Anywho, i glad you have a father you can love. ---------------------- The opinions of this author may not "jive" with those of the "Establishment" |

This is lovely, you express this love beautifully. Love and hugs, Lizzie ![]() "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |
