I realize you're gone
Although it's had to grasp
I know there was a time when I was loved
And that that time has passed.
You told me not to cry
That I could be brave
But I looked on the mirror and looking back, it just wasn't me.
You said I'd find someone new,
But I don't see how.
You were the one and only person
I ever truely loved
Now it's over and done.
But Daddy I still love you.
