"WHY?"

A tear drop to the floor
As I run out the door,
Not believing what I just heard
Emptiness fills my head.
Thats what happens when true love dies.
Tears of sorrow melt into my eyes;
As I uncontrollably start to cry.
Never had I imagined
Such shocking news;
If only I could go back in time to choose.
How could I say good-bye:
God why did he have to die.
Friends at my side try to help.
No matter what I just scream and yelp.
Memories come soaring through my head,
That's what happens when true love dies.
It's like he's right there standing by my side;
So I say to him,
Why you, not me that has to die?

This is a really sad poem. It's really hard to let go of someone you care about, but sometimes letting go is the only way to get over it. I hope this isn't a personal experience for you, but if it is I hope you can make it through all of this and just remember your friends will be there for you. Especially people at Passions. smiles
