~Sorry~ I'm sorry that I'm not the perfect person I'm sorry that I'm not good enough I'm sorry that I'm neirotic and depressed So sorry That I just don't care anymore It gets to the point where it hurts too bad when "sorry" is just never good enough When life grasps you by the throat And beats your head against the wall And it just doesn't matter anymore That's where I am And I don't expect you to understand it I don't want your pity I don't want anything from you I just want to die |

A very powerful heart-wrenching poem, when I was a teenager I felt the same way that you did. With time, I promise, it does get better. Trying to be perfect or having someone expect you to constantly be perfect is very hard to live up to and over the years, it wears you down, leaving you hopeless. Nobody can be perfect or close to it, humans were not meant to be perfect. Don't allow anyone to make you feel inferior, just be yourself, never strive to be perfect. Don't apologise for not being perfect, no one can be perfect. Just be the best you you can be....that should be good enough for all those around you. And for those that it doesn't satisfy, they are not worth getting worked up over. It's your life, enjoy it and don't make yourself suffer cos someone thinks you aren't good enough...you are!!
