What is a Friend? To me, a friend is one who is there for you through thick and thin, No matter what. A friend will never dump you like you meant nothing. They will never lie or cheat you. They will always remember the important dates that mean so much to you. They will always remember to remind you of those dates as well. J When you ask them a favor, they will never expect something in return. A friend should be your rock. Strong and dependable. A friend should be your umbrella for the rain, Your coat for the cold Your sunscreen for the hot sun. And your protection from embarrassment. A friend, will never leave you behind They will never hide from you. Everyone has a true friend that means the world to them. Whether it is a family member, an old childhood friend, a new friend or a lover. Whoever they are, They should always be there for you. And that, to me, is a friend. Dedicated to my closest friends who have been true to me….. |

truly you understand the meaning of real friendship, which i find to be quite uncommon nowadays. priceless are they to whom this poem was dedicated. hold fast to them forever. |

it's wonderful that you have such true friends in your life  great dedication i had this little quote about friendship...really beautiful...i used to know it off by heart...but now it's all muddled up and i have the wording seriously wrong if i find it....i'll have to post it under this poem coz it so goes with it!! Bec i never thought i'd die alone, i laughed the loudest who'd have known? i traced the cord back to the wall, no wonder it was never plugged in at all i took my time, i hurried up the choice was mine i didn't think enough I'm too depressed to go on, you'll be sorry when i'm gone I never conquered, rarely came 16 just held such better days Days when i still felt alive, we couldn't wait to get outside The world was wide, too late to try The tour was over i'd survived I couldn't wait till i got home, to pass the time in my room alone I never thought i'd die alone, another six months I'll be unknown Give all my things to my friends, you'll never set foot in my room again You'll close it off, board it up Remember the time i spilled the cup Of apple juice in the hall, please tell mum this is not her fault I never conquered, rarely came But tomorrow holds such better days Days when i can still feel alive, when i can't wait to get outside The world was wide, the time goes by The tour is over, i've survived I can't wait till i get home, to pass the time in my room alone 'Adam's Song' Blink 182 |
