The sun blooms golden in the eastern sky A beautiful jewel so far from my eye That lights up the world, hides the shadows I know that I must have her, hold her, love her. The breeze blows gently across the trees, From the west it caresses, and embraces and frees And brings the sweet scent of love on its wings I know that I must have her, hold her, love her. The moon risses, luminous in its light A lovely orb, forever fixed in my eye That makes me wish I could touch the sky I know that I must have her, hold her, love her. well, I just thought I'd share this with you all, I'm rather proud of it myself. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice. -Robert Frost |

Nice work DF. I liked the structure in which you wrote this. To me it appears unusual and that is what catches my eye. The vivid descriptions made it beautiful. It is certainly something to be proud of. Good job. ~AF~ "Poetry is the language in which man explores his own amazement." Christopher Fry |

anonymousfemale Thanks a lot, I am very proud of it. Yu Lan in this poem I was meaning "frees" in freeing from lonliness, of which love has done for both of us. Of course, that is what I wrote it as, it can be read as anything the reader wants to see in it. Kristi the awnsers are, Stacy, no, yes and I'm writing one right now to explain all that ![]() "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind.
