Here I'am I stand before you my heart broken in my hand I need time to ease my pain to see that I can love again to feel needed to feel loved again all I feel is this emptyness that has taken the place of love the place my heart was where everything felt good until you broke my heart how could you tell me those lies that you loved me and that you'd never leave me but now I'm alone hurt and you love another how can I ever learn to love again to trust anyone ever again you have scarred me in so many ways scars that will never go away you and I are over now never to be together again I don't want to see your face ever again I never want to hear your name you are only a sad memory amemory I will regret to remember leave me now before I cry no more excuses and no more apologies go and look in the mirror and see the person that you really are and I hope you end up hurt like me one day with your broken heart in your hand and a emptyness inside you and look back to this day and say to yourself I was once the jerk to hurt someone who loved me and you'll see that people are delicate things you just don't mess with. |

This is a very sad piece of poetry. I hope that you find a way of working through the loss and pain. Blue skies around the corner.... Don't give up on life yet, it has too much to offer still.
