Upon the midnight dreay, I look upon you so weary, Weary of fighting, Weary of dying, Look at me to see me fight, Then when I will fade into the night, Rights, What rights does a dead man receive, If you don't know I will tell you, The dead receive nothing only the free, So here I lay, To this day, Saying "I would rather fighting this endless battle than dying a foolish death", That is my plea, Just to be free, |

This is a really nice poem...I hope you find the freedom you desire. Love and hugs, Lizzie ![]() "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is a rainbow of delight." |
