Upon the midnight dreay, I look upon you so weary, Weary of fighting, Weary of dying, Look at me to see me fight, Then when I will fade into the night, Rights, What rights does a dead man receive, If you don't know I will tell you, The dead receive nothing only the free, So here I lay, To this day, Saying "I would rather fighting this endless battle than dying a foolish death", That is my plea, Just to be free, |

This is a really nice poem...I hope you find the freedom you desire. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is a rainbow of delight." |
