You beat me inside don't apologize you said what was meant to be said your words make me drunk and I fall into a high sitting in clouds trying to ignor the pain I feel deep inside me my spirit rises up leaving my body so I feel no pain only exstacy but I can't hide forever returning to my mind the pain returns emtyness all throughout me and I cry don't apologize your not sorry you don't love me leave me alone I can't stand your face the yelling begins unhappiness what I've learned to feel beating me down inside of me killing me slowly a painful death violence causes my silence and I slip away [This message has been edited by poe_32 (edited 04-11-2000).] |

This poem was actually written for people who go through abuse, personnally I didn't have to endure anything that terrible. But I've seen it too much and I wanted to write sbout it. Thanks for all your replys. Keep them coming please!! |

Egad! That is a heart wrenching poem. Glad to hear it isn't you, now if only it wasn't anyone, the world would be much better. Keep the good poems coming, I'll read what I can when I can. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice. |
