I have seen,
My own death.

Atop a high hill,
You and I alone.

You said you loved me,
Why did you push me?

Down, I'm falling down,
No one can catch me.

You didn’t do it,
On purpose I know.

You just broke up with me,
You didn’t know youd hurt me.

You had no clue,
About my depression.

How could you have known,
With me so happy?

The tears in my eyes,
Refuse to fall.

I don’t want you,
To have to see them.

I'm being thrown,
Through the air.

I can't catch myself,
I’m about to die.

Suddenly, I wake,
And I'm in your arms.

This poem has alought of feelings in it.A breakup always feels scary but there's always an inner peace after somthing like this has happened.Awsome poem you wrote.

Break ups are hard to deal with as we have all dealt with that kind of pain before. However you have managed to capture the emotions and tell it beautfully.

Glad you were only dreaming! You will be held in many arms in your life and those experiences are part of what makes life so beautiful.
