*How Can I Hate You*

Somtimes words he says, no yells
They hurt worse then bruses
Can't he see everytime he screams
It's just my love he loses?

I used to try to please him
But that cannot be done
He yells of my inperfections
This battle just can't be won

I'm not as perfect as he'd like
To him I am not trying
I wish he'd be pleased with who I am
Does he think I am always lying?

I guess I'll have to live with it
Even though it makes me sad
Cause what do you do when the person you hate
Is your one and only Dad?

This reminds me way too much of my screwed up life, but great job none the less! You think with all those books, courses, and stuff out now that teach parents how to raise their kids just might work. Well, there's a failed attempt if you ask me. I'm starting to go off on one of my tangents, so I better stop now. Anyways, I really liked this.

Yes, I think a lot of people can relate to this, as I can with my mother....however, that has changed. At first I thought you were talking abuot a BF......Keep faith. More often than not, parent-child relationships work themselves out. Good Luck.

whoa..im in a huge rush..but i had to reply to this..im telling you..this is my dad and how he treats me exactly!
it makes me sad that someone else has had to go thru what i have
