Sometimes I wonder, What life would be, If mummy went away, All would fall down around me. Mummy is my life, Mummy is my friend, Mummy is my idol, Mummies life can’t end. Mummy might have cancer, And all my family is as scared as me, Mummy looks fine on the outside, But inside its hard to see. Mummy is the strongest person, Even daddy loves her so, Mummy has been through so much, Mummy never acts like she’s low. Sometimes I fight with mummy, And now I wonder why, We fought over the stupidest things, And now mummy might die. If your mummy is well and alive, Please, think twice before getting in a fight, Mummies are things all people need, I have to cope with all my might. Mummy is so special to me, If she went a big part of me would die, Mummy taught me to be nice to things, For melly to never lie. Mummy taught me how to live, How to shed a tear, If mummy left me now, I’d live my life in fear. Mummy is never scared, She lives her life so strong, If mummy went away, All would go wrong. Mummy im saying this to you now, Stay for me, I can’t let you go, I love you with all my heart, If you went my heart beats will go so slow. Mummy I need you to be the grandmother to my kids, The one who gives me the love I need, Mummy without you here I feel, I will never succeed. |

oh my god.... I now how you feel, a friend of mine may have cancer.... I do hope that your mummy is okay, and it is a very touching poem and an excelent tribute. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." I am lost in my own mind. |

i am so sorry you have to go through this to my mom had cancer and they didnt think they would be able to get it out in time but she was lucky...during that i felt the same way as this poem keep it up you are doing great "scribere iussit amor" love commanded me to write |

mel that poem made me cry... great work but that is awful i feel for you with all my heart... I cant imagine life without my mom... my grandmother had breast cancer and they didnt think she would make it but ya know that was ten years ago and she is still alive and chipper... your friend Dana |

Mel, This poem was absolutely beautiful. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all the worry and negative thoughts. I just lost my grandfather to cancer, so I know how it is. I'm soooo glad that your mom is ok! ~Sarah |

thanx i really appriciate it when people reply, it makes you feel soooo good. everyone who looks at this is a great poet too, it doesnt matter how you write your poet, and how good it is, its the passion you have for it. If you dont have passion, poetry wouldnt be so powerful like it is Everyone keep up the good work!  |

This is lovely...my mom has had cancer twice but happily she made it through both times. I know how you must have felt when you thought she had that dreadful thing, cancer.
