Even before the world was made Even before the world was made I think I must have known you for all your words and beauty bade me to say I love you When first the clouds were formed up high and birds start to sing the feeling was there in the sky and the sun's summer fling Then the water came and covered many parts of land and how in my heart I suffered just to touch your hand Then Noah took two by two creatures to the ark you know not that I think of you when day gives way to dark And even as the sun now sets and dark consumes the land my love for you but only gets abundant as the sand |

wow, liked this one! good imagery, the first stanza is the best. ------------------ "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |

Great poem! A lot of imageries used to show your love. I like the linw---"when dark consumes the land". It's very nice! Keep your poems coming!!! =============================== God created the world tomorrow Life is nothing but memories |
