Why do I bother living? My life is one big waste. A waste of futile exercises, And meaningless conversations. Is there some hidden meaning? Is my existence part of a bigger picture? I somehow doubt that one action I do, Will have anything to do with life itself. There are so many issues, That need attending to. Why do I have to do everything? Am I alone on this pathetic earth? I feel putread staying here, My skin is becoming diseased by the second. For the air I breathe is infested with lies, And nothing good will come of any facts. The colour left a long time ago, It went with my sanity and rationality. Who cares if I live or die! There was no cause for my living anyway. |

A very depressing poem. I think there is always reason to live, whether it feels like it or not. You must realize that people care for you and love you, even if it dosn't feel that way all of the time. Tho I can really relate to the feeling, but there is always those who love you to live for. |

Sometimes I feel the exact same way. But I always think about the small things about my life that I love, and decide that they are worth living for. I agree with dragonfang on that issue. good job of writing this.  *There is no destination where we are Please take me somewhere far Far away from this world of mine* (by me) |

Echoing what DF said, this is a really deprssing poem. When ever you feel down, you should try to concentrate on the things that are good in your life. Anything at all, and even the little things can have the biggest impact on a person. I think the sign of a good poet is when their work is so emotion provoking that the reader feels the expression the writer is trying to convey. You did this very well with this piece. Obviously, I think you write well. Your work is consistently good. Even though I may not respond to all, I do read them all. |
