all around me i see my peers, those who represent me whether i want them to or not. everyone sees us as a whole not bothering to see us for who we are. i am an athlete i am a joker i am an extrovert i am a scared little girl trapped inside an unbreakable shell, or so it seems. no one's ever asked me who i am. so how do they know? |

Don't you hate being stereotyped and put into a category just by grouping? Very good poem. Nicely done. ~Astraea "Sometimes stars can only be seen in darkness." "Sorrow's crown of sorrow is remembering happier things." |

I like it. I know exactly what you mean. Dont let those jerks bother you, inside THEIR shells you'll probably find a person completely different perhaps the opposite of what they seem to be. sometimes thiers a better person inside, sometimes thiers just a rude snotty teenager seeking only attention. Thats why we got these darn shells, to hide our ugliness or what we percieve to be ugly when sometimes there is someone out there who would accept you for who you are. |

i like what you said about no one will ever know you if they dont ask lots of times people make quick decisions that are usually wrong and a second point eventually someone comes along and does break our shell and exposes our screts and it can b a great relief sometimes keep up the good work |
