May 14 is a day for your mother's... But for my family and me it's a day for someone else... My aunt, died that day... Not knowing her day was coming soon I didn't have the time to say Goodbye. Who am I to say I’m a person? Who am I to say I should be happy? Why do I get the privilege to be alive? They took my aunt so early that I didn't even get to say goodbye to her! They took her away before I could show her that she was the world to me! She'll never see me graduate from High School. She'll never see me graduate from College. She'll never see me get married... She'll never see me have children... Never again will I have her By my side, To talk to, To cry on her shoulder, To have someone understand me for me. Never again... The only thing I wish for is I wished I got to say Goodbye and I love you... I never got to tell her that... . Friends Always! Thanks for and I wished I had! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ 2 my aunt I give this poem... One friend that always been through the pain I went through I thank you for being there for helping me through this. Thank you Melanie for everything! |

I think its important to tell those we love how we feel as often as possible. Tomorrow is promised to noone and we never know the hour or the day that anyone shall depart this life. I can understand your regrets for not having told your aunt how you felt about her. I'm sure she knew by the closeness you obviously shared. There's a lesson in your poem for all of us. Thanks for sharing. |

AnD 2 DaNNy: ThanK yOu verY muCh, I hOpe she DiD kNoW hOw MuCh i CaRed for her!!! i ThanK yOu fOr the up liFFtiNg wOrds, buT this sOng makes me think!!! How do i say Goodbye to what we had... The good time that made us life ill wave them back i thought get to see forever..but forever is gone away its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.... if we get to see tomorrow i hope its worth all the wait its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.... How come i dont know when i will lose someone else close to me.. and i will never get to say goodbye to them ever?? That's one of the unfair things about life.. You dont always get to say goodbye to the ones you love and lost.. you just got to know they will be there!!! and that's a 50/50 chance of that!! but i thank you 2 for your comments!!!!!! I know its hard to loss someone it comes easy to Me.. not to be negative or anything!! it's just I loss a lot of people, deaths, going to college, leaving, etc. anyway thanks for everything.... god bless and much love! Poem Everyday we wake up, Everyday we put our lives on the edge, Everyday might be our last! We never know when, where, or even who we will lose.. It might be someone we know, love, or maybe someone we can't stand! But all and all it's someone that has touched our lives in more ways then ever.. We just have to wake up and learn when someone is trying to make a lasting impression.. Just learn to adjust to people that are different You never know when your going to run into someone you won’t want to loose... So please stop and just make someone's day.. You never know what will happen tomorrow! |
