I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along the way.
His love is always with you
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares
He will always see us through.
So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
Just remember I'm here praying
And God will do the rest

There are layers to this poem. The top layer is that god is powerful and he'll help you when the roads are bumby. The bottom layer is that you prayed for someone and its good that you told them that. Very nicely written.

AWESOME poem! I really liked it a lot. I don't have any fancy technical terms to use when I read it, but all I know is that it hits something in me. Great job!

I loved this poem! I have a lot of faith in God, and this one made me think of everyone I pray for. I even printed out a copy to send to my best friend in Brazil. I look forward to more from you...
