If nothing else I've learned,
that life is a book with many chapters,
that you should think before you speak,
that you should trust before you go accusing.

If nothing else I've learned,
that you should believe to succeed,
that you should hold what could be lost,
that you should cherish what could be forgotten.

If nothing else I've learned,
that you should be happy with yourself,
for who you are,
not who you want to be.

If nothing else I've learned,
that you should be your own person,
that you should not be jealous of others,
that you should not be judgemeantal.
Why judge when we were all judged by
the same entity?

If nothing else I've learned,
that there is always someone there to look after you,
even when you think,
who would even care?

If nothing else I've learned,
that your parents are the proudest people in the world, because you made them that way.

If nothing else I've learned,
that your siblings are your best friends,
and you should never forget that.

If nothing else I've learned,
that God doesn't drop,
the one's He holds in his arms,
and that God never gives in,
until you give Him a reason.
And even then, he's the best teacher you'll ever have.

If nothing else I've learned,
that you should look forward and not backwards,
for looking backwards brings sorrows,
and looking forward, seeks new outlooks for life.

If nothing else I've learned,
that my family is the biggest fan club ever known to me.
And for that, I am greatful.

This was very nice. It takes time to actually realize these things and be grateful for them. I must say I've learned some of these lessons, but others are still hard to consume. This was a great way of expessing that aspect of life. Life's important lessons. Very nice work!
