The softly flushed winds Flow entwined with peace Violets gently yawn Peering quietly Petals caressing the sun Raindrops lightly mist Coating in a jeweled haze The fruit trees sway Dancing to the mother's song Echoes of sweet nothing Kiss elfin ears And fleeting wishes Ride wing of the fae Jade sweeps the horizon Melded with wildflower splash All thrives in harmony When so blissfully touched By the softly flushed winds. *Krista Knutson* "Every moment marked with apparitions of your soul...." ~*Sarah McLachlan- Do What You Have To Do*~ |

ahhh... such great imagery you used Alwye. Your "softly flushed winds" reminds me of the soon coming spring. Along with all those Summer time romances we'll get to read about. Great job as always. I saw your name...and I just HAD to take a look... You are so very talented...*attempting to mask her envy by throwing out some well-worn compliments* It's always hard giving poetry in here the credit it is due without feeling like you are just repeating yourself over and over.... ...but I love your imagery...and imagination...Wonderful poem...
