We're from two different worlds, But when I'm with you, Your world seems to fit me right. I look into your soft green eyes, And I lose myself everytime. They say we're not right for each other. But why do I feel this for you? Our souls intertwine And I lose my mind. My heart pounds, And for a moment time stands still. In your arms is where I long to be, A brush of your gentle hand touching my face, Feels like a dream come true. Your fingers interlock with mine, My feet dangle in the air as you Hold me in your loving arms, Promising to keep me away from all of the harms. Your skin is as soft as a fresh rose petal, And when you touch me, I can't help but be lost. I want to be yours, And you to be mine. But friends is all we are, for now. |

I really enjoyed this poem. It fits me right now because I am in love with someone who I can't be with. But I'm determined that we will be. Nice job. |

Thank you very much. I wrote this poem for my ex boyfriend Aaron before we were together. And all of the same feelings still apply. If only I had enough courage and strength to give it to him. |
