just about where I want to be

I'm not really angry
Because I knew it would not last
You drifted away a long time ago
Oh well, it's all in the past

You have moved on
And found another one
If only she knew
The damage you have done

Yet through all this
The eternal will ring true
Only my heart knows this...
I still love you...

For every truth, there is an ear somewhere to hear it
For every love, there is a heart somewhere to receive it".--Ivan Panin

*ramble warning*... you know, normally when i think of engagement, i think of some mature, suave gentlemen getting on one knee and proposing a life-long commitment to the woman of his dreams... but then i remember my friend sam... the guy who was engaged 3 times before age 18 (and coincidentally broke them all off before a month had passed)... i'm sorry that you had to meet someone like that lavada... keep your chin up and your pen to the paper (the latter one is a personal request)...

sincerely,
jerome the melancholy priest

 Disarm you with a smile
And leave you like they left me here
To wither in denial
The bitterness of one who's left alone

Lavada~
I'm still sorry to hear about your ex-fiance, but remember we're all here for you.  I know the rough times hurt, but you always manage to pull through.  Keep writing, and remember that you'll find someone who actually deserves you.

I've been proposed to 3 times in the past 2 years, but oh well, only 1 of 'em used a ring. Andrew took the ring off my hand and said "will you marry me?" as he slipped it back on    but when he did that i was going out with another guy, but we didnt last much longer after that
