To never hear your voice To never feel your touch To never see your smile To never listen you your advice To never have you as my partner To never have a shoulder to cry on To never have you to dig in piles of scraps with all the oohs and aahs To never have a chance to say I love you To never have your arms around me or mine around you To never have your nose for an Eskimo Kiss Your life is over, and mine still is I loved you then, I love you now So rest in God's hand I'm back far behind We will meet in God's land And all the nevers will all be passed by posted for Linda Mendoza [This message has been edited by sweetcollege_girl (edited 02-11-2000).] |

scg: i am both touched and awed at the same time... the last line is absolutely beautiful... your mother is to be commended for her beautiful expression of heart poured into paper... now i see where her two daughters get their talent ![]() sincerely, jerome the mysterious priest A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |

this is so sad..but beautifully written...the pain of losing a loved one is hard to bear...but we must remember that they are in a far better place than we.. "To live is to love; To truly LOVE is to live!" ~kg~ |
