You came like a storm You came like a storm just blowing by Brought the sunshine back to the sky You captured my mind, heart and soul How you did it, I will never know I was unworthy, din suit your taste The love and time I spent all went to waste But like a child intrigued be a toy I, just like any other typical boy Couldn’t bear to be apart or say goodbye You are the apple of my eye. A pen contains limited ink It is no different from my heart I think It write it's words until it dries I've run out of tears for me to cry When the love letters are done and the pen is gone My mailbox is lonely and I am forlorn My math's no good, I can't count chance I have no hope to put on romance. A year ago, right about today I was in complete, total disarray How can a short year seem so long for a bird to finish singing it's song Nobody else can take your place for in my mind I see your face Beautiful and pretty with eyes aglow It breaks my heart and tears freely flow |

A pen contains limited ink It is no different from my heart I think It write it's words until it dries I've run out of tears for me to cry I think the whole poem is great, but that verse especially stuck out in my mind. It makes you think. Great job! |
