Sleep descends upon the city The gloom of the night Only to be dimly lighten by the moon The streets are bare The homes with no eyes Nothing moves Except the leaves with the wind Which howls a warning To not venture outside In this dark, gloomy night You sleep in comfort knowing The one you love is there Next to you There to protect you Keep you safe From any harm that may come [This message has been edited by Ender (edited 02-06-2000).] |
