Sleep descends upon the city
The gloom of the night
Only to be dimly lighten by the moon
The streets are bare
The homes with no eyes
Nothing moves
Except the leaves with the wind
Which howls a warning
To not venture outside
In this dark, gloomy night

You sleep in comfort knowing
The one you love is there
Next to you
There to protect you
Keep you safe
From any harm that may come

ender: this a beautiful description... i like the line "the homes with no eyes"... makes me think of the houses with their lighted windows as eyes... i'm not sure that's what you meant it to be, but it works here

sincerely,
jerome the boy with no brain

A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!

A painted picture with your words...Good imagery here

There are two kinds of pedestrians...the quick and the dead. Drive it like you stole it.
