I don't know, but I used to be different. I used to care. I used to have more to say. I used to talk so openly. I used to know you in and out. I used to love the way you were. I used to have this urge. I used to understand where and why. i used to speak clearly and explain what I meant. I used to wish and dream all day long. I used to live in another world. I used to be normal, I think. I used to get mad and sad and happy. I used to be able to write it all down. I used to wonder all the time. I used to wish it never endend. I guess I've changed, But I don't know why. Now I could care less. Now I speak only a word or two. Now I can't explain me. Now I don't know who you've become. Now I hate the fact I knew you. Now I think that urge died. Now I can't understand these whys and wheres. Now I can't a word right from my heart. Now I hate wishing and dreaming. Now I live in the reality you created for me. Now I feel one thing and one thing only, scared. Now I can't write for you or me or my tears. Now I wonder why I wondered. Now I wish it could all be over with. WOW are you inside my head right now or what?? you wrote everything down that I had been feeling lately!!! Very good poem I reallyl liked it Keep up the good work!! *if you love someone let them go, if they return their love was yours, if they don't their love wa never yours to begin with* |

very well done... i can relate .. as everyone else can... im guessing its a universally felt mid-life crisis (not really mid-life but something of the sort.. mid-teenage life maybe?)... you did a great job! Regret for things you did maybe tempered by time, regret for things you Didn't do, however, is inconsolable... -------823------- |
