Reflection of a Girl A reflection of a girl A girl who doesn't understand Look of happiness Yet inside sadness So easy to hide A mask from the world Becomes an everyday thing No one knows who she really is A reflection of a girl A girl who hides from her true self She don't know who she truely is anymore Scared someone is going to figure out Yet so tired of being "fake" Wants to come oout froom behind the mask Afraid no one will accept her as is A reflection of a girl A girl who is confused Doesn't understand why she cares Care what people think Why can't they accept her as she truely is The girl without the mask Knows she can't hide forever I wouldn't mind any suggestions or comments you have. If there are any improvements I can make let me know. Isa ![]() |

isabelle: this is very good.. i am particularly fond of the last lines... the only place that i see a problem are the lines "Look of happiness/ Yet inside sadness"... i feel as though you have so much more to say about this, but you've limited yourself here... reach deep inside and express these lines as well as you did the rest... i know you can do it, and i feel your poem will be better for it... sincerely, jerome the boy with no brain A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |
