It's a room drenched in light,
But I see only darkness pieces of those broken stars falling down on me ,
Sharp till I can no more bleed,
My blood licked away by the night that surrounds me ,
That glittery sky , a shimmering shaking night , its black cloak is stained with blood today, on the brink of collapse,
Torn apart by those cruel summer rays
Why do I see it all ?
All that misery ..the silent dawn of the doom we have turned a blind eye to!
They just stand and talk, ignorant, angst,
Unhurt …..untouched….making me wonder endlessly,

It's a room ….drenched in light and I m there with them all…,
A peal of evil laughter tears its way through the thick moist air….a shallow comment passed,
Breaking yet another heart….those pearly tears fall , wiped away ..Unnoticed,
A harsh punishment for me for I prefer the darker side (it's a room drenched in light),
A laugh maybe , a gentle touch form another world …from someone else,
Not here ..not form them,
But I sit..it's the rule of the world,
Shifting form one place to another,

Restless, impatient, wanting to escape,
Music too it seems is soft and dreary, of love and a happy life,
And where is all that , not inside those shallow waters on which we are afloat,
All this and so  much more drains away the little energy I have,
I long for my own surroundings ,my own privacy, but I  am chained , and weak ,
Constantly a loud deafening voice comes barging in…..
Shattering away for the umpteenth time my carefully organized twisted little world,
Faces get in to ma face, looking at me , I M an alien among them , let them see my scars
Maybe those cracked bloody gashes on my face, that shout out  for mercy(for myself ,for the world), will make them learn,

It's a room drenched in light,
Sweaty bodies collide , till I feel like retching ,
Only a touch away , physically,
Yet a life time away , emotionally ,
Fingers pointing, accusingly,
Tongues yapping , stupidly,
Wanting to believe the worst , the dirty , the inhuman,
Grabbing hold of words hanging in the air, words of their own interest,

In a room drenched in light ,
I listen and nod ,
Smile and oblige,
For it's the rule of the world,
A foolish grin , a hidden sneer , plastered on my face ,
So when does it all end?
Maybe now , maybe never ,
The clock ticking away , till I can feel my soul burning,
Jumping at every opportunity to get away,
Flirting my time away,
My eyes drinking in the back of every head,
For faces……I just cant stand , drooling  with greed, so pathetic ,
I wait ..till the food is all gone, till the party is over,
The tongues are locked for the day ,
The ears and mind loaded with garbage,
All to be  poured out the next day, to set ablaze another innocent heart ,

The curtains of dusk are drawn by now ,
I open up my eyes , for I didn't want to see ,
Cotton balls pulled out , who gives a heed?
Good byes settle in and I slip away into the cold night ,
As the winter wind grabs hold of my hand,
Guides me through, till I find solace ,
An evening wasted , that I regret,
But yet again today I witnessed another drama …
We humans so skillfully play ,
So I smile , and snuggle up inside my bed ,
Till sleep mingles up with scattered thoughts, to give birth to  another  dream and frees me!SF

WOW.... this was wonderful!  "It's a room drenched in light, But I see only darkness.." that was so powerful.  I must say this was superb! Good job, keep up the great work!

faith: exquisite imagery here... i'm quite impressed... the lines that hit me the hardest were "Till sleep mingles up with scattered thoughts, to give birth to  another  dream..." and "I see only darkness pieces of those broken stars falling down on me"... absolutely riveting...

As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!
