The Truth is here, Time to face it, No turning back now, No going back to basics You have walked where no man should, Your going to pay for it, Like you ought to, Your heart is dead, You don't care, It's so sad that you are unaware, Of the future that you have, After you messed up, Still you don't care, My heart crys for you, To see you life and what you done, You live so recklessly until the day is done, Where has the man gone that we admired? He is on the street looking for work to hire, Every morring you stare in the mirror, Wandering where has the proud man gone? He is the drugged out guy we see on tv, The heart's cry no one can ever really explain it, In the end our hearts will tell all our dirty little secrets, We can hide our thought from people, not from our hearts, This poem is about how poeple change and still hang on to that part we all love about them so if you have some one like that don't give up on them and pray for them if you want. |

The title for this was perfect for the subject. I know about how poeple change and you should still stay by their side and never lose faith. They always seem to come back around. |

jytree: very good poem.. i like the way you tied the title in with the text of the poem... i agree with the sentiment you express here and i have no criticisms for the time-being... sincerely, jerome the boy with no brain A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |
