The volition has passed to somewhere That I can no longer reach And now the grasp of agitation Is all the sermons preach Awoken with no zeal in sight I take this breath with little hope Undignified, I’ve lost all respect These fingers slide across my throat And to the ones who no longer see Just what I bleed myself for What I want is to be taken in This I wish, and nothing more "It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh it's my mouth that pushes out this breath..."-FTE |
