I knelt upon my knees, "please God help me."
Seemingly unable to rise on my own.
Hollow echoes of misery in all of my poetry.
Swearing to all that asked me, that I was alone.

Each morning finding it harder to rise.
Wallowing in all of my sadness and pain.
I find myself here on the floor with tear filled eyes.
Asking and begging for you to help me again.

I do not hear your voice speaking out to me.
Just a quiet whisper deep in my soul.
Telling me to look to you for all I seek.
That you alone can make me feel whole.

Come to me Lord, for I surrender all.
You alone will help me go on.
Sweet Jesus in heaven please hear my call
show me that all hope is not gone.

Beautiful poem Lucie....I have always been told to go to God, for he could help me, and answer my prayers.

You are never alone, Lucie, when you know where to look. Obviously you do. A wonderful poem.

Oh, Lucie! I've felt this way before, I can well remember the despair that threatened to consume me. I did turn it over to God and I found peace. I'm praying you find the same.

Your poetry has stroked the heart of God as one who strokes a harp.
