I came to you in lonesome's grip looking for release. You slayed that beast that held my heart and against my will I loved you. You gentled me when I rebeled with broken wings you held me. So patiently you made me see not everyone sees the ugly. Finally defenses fell and I returned your words. You released me from bonds of misery And when I held on to you.... You let me go. ------------------ "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |

Saxoness, I'm not sure if I read this one before, but it was beautiful. I loved the last couple lines |

Thanks everyone! This is one of those pieces you write in passing then forget about, only to find later and wonder why you didn't pay more attention to it. ------------------ "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |
