Frustration of this fatuation
Stems from the miles that lie between us
Leaving me disconsolate in its wake

There's a risk I'll gladly take
Situation to change my location
Waning days have got me in a rush

Love will lose a ton of dust
Given you have my heart a shake
Termination of our hermitation

Consolidation of our habitation
Clad in white I see you blush
Nuptial vows we'll someday take

We are...

I loved hearing you read this, and I loved reading it myself.

Welcome back to the forums, sug.

Geesh - you've written a great poem, and here I sit analyzing the rhyme scheme - I really like this one - It's kinda like a petite sestina, don't ya think?

nocht: thanks again...i was smiling like a loon when writing this at work

nan: hehehe...tickled pink you critiqued this one, but you missed something...the 'a' line contains two 'a's aabc caab bcaa aabc in trochaic tetrameter, positioned in tercets gotcha
