The Men That Pass Through The men that pass through my mind will not be forgotten ~ each had his time. In all ways they came, in all sizes too... they were never quite the same, each love tried to be new. They showered me with compliments and a kiss was always there. But I wonder at how many really meant that I was their only care? Ages varied quite some ways, from 22 to 18. Each had a “special” approach sometimes a rerun of what I’ve seen. But each held a special air in everything he said. They told me they’d always be here, something I’d oft’ heard repeated. These men that ramble through my mind, will always be here to stay. For who could forget the words of time ~ “I love you,” from each, spoken once a day? Pepper, you're right, even when they are just a part of our imagination; Balladeer, you're wrong ~ this one was SO shy, there have been very few. But it IS a good play on fiction...; Puf, thank you for letting me know you've been reading my pieces. That puts a heck of a grin on my face for the rest of the day... |
