Two Different Worlds

We live in two different worlds,
and now we are so far apart.
When our worlds collided,
I was left with a sad and lonely heart.

In my world I am free to travel,
To seek my souls greatest need.
But my travels are only in circles,
Always back to you, it seems to lead.

In your world you have obligations,
And from them you can not stray.
I know that my world is tempting,
But in your world, you have to stay.

I have memories to keep me company,
Of the few times that I was held by you.
When the lights are turned off in your world,
I wonder, if you recall the memories too?
