You are the center of the world -At least in your own eyes The sun, the moon, the distant stars The clouds in yonder skys Exist- you think- for only you -You just don't realize You are but dust - just like the rest -Comes that a big surpise? I'm overworked and overtaxed -It's not worth my demise To acquiesce to your each whim -You know no compromise Perhaps the problem's stunted growth -A baby in disguise? Perhaps your heart's a bit too small -Might need a bigger size? To ponder this - I'm not equipped My best guess but surmise I've had my say - perhaps too much So now I'll summarize The answer to your misery -Within your soul it lies. ------------------ Denise |

Denise you did a great job describing self-centeredness. If I spelled that correctly. I know a few like that. The EGO gets in the way. I hope it helped you to write it down. I know sometimes just to write it will help so you're not fuming over it in your mind! I've had a few of those. (((((HUGS))))) |
