First was dirt and rocks and green things that grew wild and had no name and there was no memory of a beginning. Oceans carved the design, rivers traced the curve of light that fell from ridges into valleys. Listening screech and coo nestled and focused on becoming timeless by creating more. Time has swept a path across the distance from then to now. With secret language that has always been this hallowed ground is still a home where soft voices rise and fall together and footsteps catch the rhythm of the stairs, familiar as the sunset from the bedroom window and the afternoon breeze that stirs the office papers. |

Ending it with the office papers was extremely clever. Well done, Martie. |
