Free

Like a waterfall
off the edge
I fall free
into the pool
of my emotions
free to feel
to flow on
to wherever the river bed
takes me..
over rocks
under bridges
and past sleepy farms
on to the sea
free just to be
me
with all that I am
and more
than I ever dreamed
that the sea of my being
would contain
yielding my spirit
to return to the river
from the clouds.
