Safely I wander inside my dreams totally reckless happy to be free dipping my toes in sunlit streams birds singing perched on trees flies skimming the surface fish jumping up gasping for air nature and I happy as one side by side without a care Grass greener than green swans gracefully gliding eyes watching unseen ducks diving and colliding I sit and dream upon the banks listening to trees whispering to each other and once again I give my thanks that I was born a nature lover... Treading softly as I walk barefoot the moon lighting my way the hoot of an owl upon a branch foxes and badgers coming out to play The ground beneath me a carpet the stars in their bed of night alone with my thoughts I'll dream of you until first light... ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. |
