Your Love Once More I never wrote the story I never told the tale I'm just a boy inside the world You made in six days I've never had the power I've never had the strength Yet with You I've found it all So was I really blind to fate? Your hand is on my shoulder Your word is in my ear Your love is in my heart How could I never see it? Oh I was blind so long ago Some things I couldn't see I saw the things I wanted Yet my eyes ignored You Perhaps I was afraid of You Perhaps I was ashamed I've never been proud of who I was But it mattered all the same I do not want the hand outs I do not want the joy I only want to hear the words The words I know to feel So could You, Father, say them now? And ease the pain I feel? Say You love me one more time So my mind will believe my heart I've never been a perfect son I've never been at ease I've always been a source of stress Or a weight upon Your knees So show me love I know You feel And let me feel Your touch Let me hear the words I read And want to hear so much All I Ever Need Lord, I feel Your presence So will You touch my spirit tonight? Let me feel Your holy strength As I face my demons this night I know Your strength is unending And I'll need it in the depths of despair As darkness descends upon my being And the devil destroys my repair So touch my spirit tonight Lord And give me the courage to proceed For You are one within me And You are all I ever need |
