The woods surround me, I feel overwhelmed,
yet every tree stands alone.
Minor or grand, every tree by itself,
a complete world on its own.
The shrubs, the branches, the leaves, the roots,
all worlds by themselves, all worlds full of life.
A giving and taking, from one to another,
nurtured by Mother Earth to thrive.

Branches borrowed by nesting birds,
returned is the joy of life.
So tiny, so fragile, so full of delight,
these branches feel almost obliged,
to nurture, to shelter and to protect,
this treasure of new born life,
until it can fly and live its own life,
discover a new world outside.
And maybe next year , they'll be so kind,
to honour them once more,
with all this beauty in disguise
and show them a new first flight.

I stand in the woods and feel overwhelmed,
by all these wonders of life.
Asking myself and feeling ashamed,
how it can be and why we can't see,
the beauty life really is.
For all it will take for us to awake
and find the true meaning of living,
is to love from within and see the bliss in,
the honest true value of giving.

Munda the woods are my most favorite place in the world. I could never have described the beauty of it as richly as you have.
Thank you for this...it is a lovely read!
