The crayon markings on the wall To show me just how tall The smile that is on your face The one nobody can replace The memories we hold so dear Of our childhood years Yet we forget the fear The little nightlight that shines so bright Snuggled up in my quilt so tight Even in the darkness of the night Waiting for the morning sun And a brand new day That has begun |
