Why all the angst; This topic's old; Please give me ear; May I be bold? Man's eyes belong On his own soul; A lesson here... Love is the goal; Removing specks From brother's eye When mighty log Doth in mine lie Is not the path Of life, you see, It only breeds Futility. No answer there Is ever found When fighting on This battleground; And faults we find in other men Reside in us -So look again; In haste do not Judge any man Just give them love That is His plan; If we would all Do only this This world would be One full of bliss! This wisdom's from A loving God To help us tread This mortal sod; And more like Him I strive to be To learn His love Is my heart's plea! The lesson here Is plain to see I won't judge you And don't judge me!! Hope this Helps! ------------------ Denise |

Interesting way of telling me that I should keep my mouth shut on the subject of religious hypocrisy. "Do only this This world would be One full of bliss!" That is exactly my point, if all men did this it would indeed be a wondrous world but since they don't it will never happen. Point taken though, you will hear naught from me about christian hypocrisy as this says it for me. ------------------ Now and forever my heart hears ~one voice~. DreamEvil© |

Thank you Romantic Heart and DreamEvil for reading and commenting. Dream-you miss my point. I'm not telling you or anyone else to keep their mouth shut on any subject. I'm am merely trying, though perhaps poorly, to say that we are in the wrong arena to begin with if we are looking at other's shortcomings. We would all do well to judge only ourselves. Something to strive for though never completely reached in this life. ------------------ Denise |

I really like this, Denise. We were just talking about this on Wednesday at my church. Would you mind if I printed it out to share with them, all credit to you of course? ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |

Denise, I really love your poem.....It says a lot. If only we could all live by it, but then I guess we would all be in heaven. Some day I pray. Shar |

Denise... you have an amazing ability to express yourself in verse... Mr. DreamEvil... one of your favorite terms comes to mind... drivel... that is not christian hypocrisy... just my personal views [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 10-09-1999).] |

Thank you all for your read and kind comments! Echo, yes you may print it out and share it! I would be honored. And let me add that this was not meant as a judgement of anyone. We all have faults (logs)that need to be dealt with. So much so that we should not have any free time to start inspecting others! And yes, perfection will only come when we pass over to that blessed shore! ------------------ Denise |

Denise, I'm sure you have faults as we all do.....but your poetic ability is not one of them. Again, wonderful work. |
