Oh child of mine Hair as golden as the sun Eyes blue as the ocean Oh child of mine Why do you hurt so The tears in your eyes overflow Oh child of mine I love you cant you see I will stay with you for always Oh child of mine Please tell me what it is you fear My hearts breaking I'm in tears Oh child of mine many you have loved and are now gone But I'm your mother and will never part Oh child of mine Trust again in me I will always be with you cant you see Oh child of mine How I long to see Your eyes shining brightly Oh child of mine To here your laughter one more time My heart would overflow with joy Oh child of mine Please take this to heart I promise to never depart Oh child of mine Please tell me how to mend your heart I love you and we will never be apart |
