Me and Darius, we got a tale to tell high quality doesn't mean correct grammar so if my poem just a little off don't nail me to the wall. Me and Darius, we got mint ice cream The green kind that dissolves on your tongue And Darius knows when I want to scream when my chin's hitting the ladder's every rung Me and Darius, some say we should go out But we both know we're better as friends Me and my pug nose, him a Boy Scout we both know this way it never ends Me and Darius, we got a new CD Jimmy Buffet singing Margueritaville Strange things have been happenin to me Every time it's playing I get funny chills Me and Darius both know something's gone wrong I look at him and get a funny smile He looks back but it lasts too long I haven't felt like this for awhile Me Darius know it can never be My thoughts keep turning his way just the same His eyes turn into these crystal pools but no he's my best friend what a damn shame Me and Darius we got a thing everyone knows about but us I look at him and he looks at me But it ain't somethin you really discuss. Me I know this ain't all that great the lines are short and not too sweet But to me and Darius, it's all we got Excuse my grammar now the poem's complete. ------------------ Cai the Jedi Poet |
