Of schemes and dreams In the garden of our dreams Are planted some unseemly schemes. They are nurtured all of them, With the food of future when. And when the schemes grow too tall, And when the garden grows too small, Some are shown to give placate And that my friend a large mistake. You cannot cut from garden dreams From non existent seems and schemes. They are not real they are not true. They cannot bring about a coup. They are shrouded to the real. They have no taste no touch or feel. Inviable to the true The understanding must be two. So fragile is the born of dreams That hearts are broken in their schemes. |

AHHHHHHHH...but to live without dreams? No way. Rather have them and build on them. Good writing. Love your work. ------------------ O all ye powers that he implanted, Arise, keep silence no more; put forth the strength that he hath granted, your noblest work is to adore. |

True-'tis a fact - and not a dream That your fine verse can smiles bring And teardrops too - when sad the theme Yet all of it doth make hearts sing! ------------------ Denise |

Puf, I'm not saying not to dream. I'm saying be careful about transference. Thanks for the read. Denice, Enjoyed your little poem and I always enjoy your coments. |
