I wish I had a flower, for each time you thought of me. Would my room be full? I wonder, how many would there be? I wish I had an e-mail, for each time I crossed your mind. Would my mail box be full? How many letters would I find? Does the thought of me make you smile? Are you glad that I'm around? Does thinking of me, make you feel better, when you're feeling lost and down? All of these thoughts, keeps me going, carried with me through out the day. But Lord, when I fell so hard for you, I never dreamed it would be this way. ...And so I wonder... Would my mail box be empty? Would there be no flowers anywhere? Am I existing in a world, where you're not really there? I think this could be true, but I have to keep my dreams alive. Without you in my heart and mind, there's no way I could survive. I may never get any mail, and I may never get one flower. But you still keep my hopes alive, and the only one with the power. |
