I walk this path of sunny springtime joy I gaze on red roses fully in bloom You are the hope my heart needs to employ You are sweeter than this garden's perfume Larger than life my love for you does loom Often I wonder why you wanted me I just could never in my life assume That my bitter honey could lure a bee Though I once thought it simply couldn't be I need only to look into your eyes I ran away to you, now I am free You are the sugar that sweetens the lies You are the world where my fancies take wing When I'm with you it's eternally spring ------------------ "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." -Billy Corgan- |
