The Warning

Withhold now your spite,
I can stomach no more.
Vile guilt you invite,
anger comes to the fore.

Always a lover,
now you burden with pain.
Go for the jugular,
ripping my soul again.

You mess with my mind,
vile mouth playing with words.
I do now in kind,
for my demons you've lured.

So ware now and ward,
a bitter heart's been scorned.
Come now, step forward,
knowing you have been warned.

Eeks...(Tip Toing to the back of the room).
Think I'll sit silently here for a while.
Good poem Chris.

Michael: I'm with you, as I go to hug my pillow and try to think calm, peaceful thoughts and wish the same here..:-)

Well, thank God I'm not the target of this!!!

Isn't it great to be able to write things out like this and feel better afterward? I do some of my best when I'm p'd off !

It's a grand poem, Christopher!
