Stiches into the quilt Forever lasting through time Imperfect to the quilter Perfection to others Heartache and pain Happiness and joy All sewn together In time Lasting through the years Giving comfort and warmth Only seeing the beauty In the pattern choosen Wondering who's initials Appear on the back The legacy left behind Though all time To keep the next generation warm. |
